Professional Development Program – TBE Methodology (by Eurico da Silva – world champion jockey)

The content of my lecture is divided into 7 topics that offer teachings and methods for professional development and a winner’s mindset.

The TBE methodology – The Big Eurico, developed based on my career as a world champion jockey, and on the challenges I faced and overcame with the help of enlightened people who came into my life and are still in it.

I apply the TBE methodology both in my presentations as well as in my individual and group mentoring.

I share my learnings on the following topics:

The impact of details

In any situation, not only professionally, paying attention to detail can make all the difference.

Being detail-oriented can have a very positive impact on your success. In a way, paying attention to detail shows that you worry and care about the quality of your work.

Besides, when you are constantly paying attention to detail, you are more likely to identify mistakes before they become big problems.

Of course, it is important not to obsess over small details to the detriment of the big picture.

However, if you can find balance between keeping an eye on the big and small aspects of whatever you are doing, you will be well on your way to success.

The Power of Training

There is no doubt that training is essential for success in any area of life. The ability to learn new skills and improve existing ones is what drives you to personal and professional excellence.

Surely, it might make you better at your job or help you earn a promotion, but the benefits of training go far beyond that.

Training can give you a sense of accomplishment, boost your confidence, and in general, make you happier and more fulfilled. It can also help reduce stress levels, improve relationships, and even increase productivity both on and off the job.

In other words, if you are not making most of the power of training, you are missing out! So, whatever your goals are, make sure you invest some time learning new things and improving your career. It might turn out to be the very best decision you ever made.

Humility and Strength

When we are feeling lost or insecure, it can be difficult to muster the humility to ask for help.

We may feel that we are admitting defeat or that we are not capable of handling the situation on our own.

However, there is power in humility—and in asking for help when needed. When we seek help from others, we open ourselves up to new perspectives and possibilities.

We also give the people around us an opportunity to show their support and care. Asking for help can be a strength, not a weakness. Therefore, next time you run into difficulties, do not be afraid to reach out and ask for help.

The importance of self-discipline

There are many things that contribute to your success in any area of your life, but one of the most important things is self-discipline. It is essential for professional development and to stay focused on your goals.

Whether you are starting out, or have been in your profession for years, having self-discipline will help you keep growing and improving. Without self-discipline, it is very easy to fall into your comfort zone and become stagnant.

So what exactly is self-discipline?

Self-discipline demonstrates self-control and restraint in your behavior, thought processes, and emotions. This means setting yourself limits and respecting them, being consistent in your efforts even when the going gets tough, or when you simply do not feel like it.

That last part is crucial — even when you do not feel motivated and inspired, you still show up, do what needs to be done, the way it needs to be done, and when it needs to be done.

Because that is what successful people do.

Mental Strength

Honestly, this was the knowledge that helped me the most in my career as a professional and winning jockey.

Knowledge that I apply at all times, including in my lectures and in an even more personalized way in my mentorships with high-performance athletes and senior executives from the corporate world.

Mental strength is the ability to maintain balance and consistency in results.

It can be achieved through a variety of techniques, including self-discipline and staying focused on a particular goal.

Mental strength is important because it allows you to stay motivated and achieve your goals faster and better.

It also helps people cope better with anxiety and stress, and take adversity more lightly.

Learning from failure

How to face failures, which are inevitable in our life, to learn more about ourselves and become better people.

There is much to learn from failure. In fact, I believe that some of life’s most valuable lessons come from times of failure.

Why is that?

Well, when we fail, we are often forced to face our biggest weaknesses and learn how to improve ourselves.

Of course, it is not always easy to see the positive side of our failures. However, if we can look at failure in a new light, and remember that everyone goes through difficult times, we can begin to see failures as opportunities for growth.

Without much regret and complaints, we must make our mistakes and failures our best teacher.

The Greatness of Gratitude

It is widely accepted that gratitude is good for our mental and emotional health.

The effects of gratitude have been well researched and the findings are conclusive—grateful people are happier, healthier, and live longer than those who do not express gratitude regularly.

Gratitude also has a positive effect on our physical health, reducing stress levels and improving our immune system.

Discover how to sincerely express Gratitude for everything and everyone and feel the benefits to your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
